When to use
- You post your own Instagram and Facebook, and the hard part is deciding what to post — not taking the photo.
- You want a batch: a week or two of varied posts, not one caption at a time, and you'd rather not open either app to publish them.
- You want to stay in charge — nothing goes out until you approve it.
What it does
Bundles two pieces that reinforce each other, in one install:
- Social Content Batch (the skill) turns what you sell into a batch of organic posts: a real mix of post types (what we do, behind-the-scenes, customer proof, a tip, a direct offer), platform-fit captions, format notes for the image or video, hashtags scoped to your niche and location, and a cadence across one or two weeks.
- Meta Social (the connector) publishes the Instagram and Facebook ones — image plus caption, to your Facebook Page and your linked Instagram — showing you exactly what will go out and to which account. Nothing publishes until you say yes.
A real example: Sunday night you say "give me 8 organic posts for Instagram and Facebook for the next two weeks — I run a small bakery, warm tone, and I have the photos." Social Content Batch writes the captions, the format notes for each photo, the hashtags, and the calendar. Monday you pick the first post, attach the photo, approve the preview — and it's on both feeds.
How to use
- Connect Meta Social in the app: you sign in with Facebook and grant posting permission — no API keys to paste. Your Instagram has to be a Business or Creator account linked to your Facebook Page, and you need to be an admin of that Page.
- Ask: "give me a week of organic posts for Instagram and Facebook for [what you sell], with captions, format notes, hashtags, and a calendar."
- Give it the link to each of your own photos (the connector publishes from an image URL), then ask it to publish the day's post — and approve the preview.
Why the bundle works
The skill writes a batch you'd still have to publish by hand, one post at a time, inside the apps. The connector publishes — but on its own it has nothing to say until you dictate a caption. Together, the two surfaces the connector actually reaches (Instagram and Facebook) are two of the platforms the batch was written for: the captions arrive platform-fit, and publishing them is an approval instead of a copy-paste session.
Limits
- Publishing covers Instagram and Facebook Page only. The batch's LinkedIn or TikTok copy is yours to post where it belongs, and short-form video script outlines aren't publishable through this connector — it posts an image and a caption.
- No scheduling, no comment replies, no metrics, and nothing that spends money: organic publishing only, one post at a time, each behind your approval.
- Publishing is public and can't be undone — that's why the approval step is not optional.
- The skill doesn't promise reach, followers, or engagement. It writes the content; your audience decides what happens next.
