When to use

  • You want more reviews on Google, and you want to ask the customers most likely to say something good — not blast everyone.
  • You also want to know when a new review lands and reply to it without checking the dashboard by hand.
  • You run a local business where your Google rating is often the first thing a new customer sees.

What it does

Bundles two pieces that reinforce each other, in one install:

  • Ask for Reviews (the skill) writes the message and timing to ask a recently happy customer for a Google review, plus a gentle follow-up — never fake reviews, never paid-for ratings.
  • Google Business (the connector) watches your reviews as they arrive, tells you what's new and unanswered, flags a dropping rating, and drafts a reply for each — posted only after you say yes.

A real example: you just finished a job for a customer who seemed genuinely pleased. You say "write a review ask for this customer, they just had a great experience". Ask for Reviews drafts the message with the direct link. A few days later you ask "do I have new reviews?" and Google Business lists the one that came in, still unanswered. You say "draft a warm reply thanking them" and it writes one — you approve, and it posts.

How to use

  1. Install the Plugin and connect your Google Business Profile.
  2. When a customer has a good experience, ask: "write a review ask for [customer]".
  3. Later, ask: "do I have new reviews?" and "draft a reply to the latest one" — you approve before it posts.

Why the bundle works

The review-ask skill alone gets you more reviews, but then you still have to notice when they land and answer them by hand. The connector alone watches your reviews, but doesn't help you get more of them. Together: one product covers the whole loop — asking happy customers, watching what comes in, and replying — instead of two separate habits to remember.

Limits

  • It never fakes reviews, posts on a customer's behalf, or offers payment or discounts for a rating — most platforms forbid it and this Plugin won't help break that rule.
  • Replies are gated: the AI drafts and shows you first; it only posts once you confirm.
  • Requires a Google Cloud project with Business Profile API access approved by Google — the one genuinely fiddly setup step.
  • It only sees and manages reviews on the Google Business Profile account you connect.
